Gillets f\u00f6rsta h\u00f6sttr\u00e4ff \u00e5r 2012 \u00e4gde rum p\u00e5 Odd Fellow-huset som ligger n\u00e4ra Jakobs kyrka mitt i Stockholm. Vi var 27 personer som fick en intressant och sp\u00e4nnande historisk tillbakablick av tillkomsten av den byggnad som idag \u00e4r Odd Fellow-huset.
\nV\u00e5r guide var Gunnar Laninge som \u00e4r vd och fastighetschef f\u00f6r Huset. Gunnar Laninge ber\u00e4ttade att han sj\u00e4lv har r\u00f6tter i Dalsland d\u00e5 hans farfar kom fr\u00e5n s\u00f6dra delen av landskapet.<\/p>\n

Husets historia g\u00e5r tillbaka till f\u00f6rsta delen av 1600-talet och har varit i ett flertal adelssl\u00e4kters \u00e4gor. I slutet av 1800-talet f\u00f6rv\u00e4rvade grosshandlaren och tobaksfabrik\u00f6ren Johan Backstr\u00f6m fastigheten. Johan B\u00e4ckstr\u00f6m som var medlem i Odd Fellow s\u00e5lde 1922 huset till Odd Fellow som l\u00e4t bygga om fastigheten utifr\u00e5n Ordens behov.
\nVi fick h\u00e4r en vandring genom vackra salonger och ordenssalar och avslutade det givande bes\u00f6ket med en god lunch i Lilla matsalen.<\/p>\n
